Stability of Floating Bodies

Experimental setup consists of A ship model (pontoon) which can float in a small water tank. The ship model is made up of acrylic. A cross-bar provided with a movable hanger is fixed on the model and allows for its tilting. By means of a pendulum tilting of vessel can be measured on a graduated scale in the form of linear displacement of pendulum. A set of weights are provided with the experimental setup.
